The Order of the Daughters of the King is an organization for women who follow a rule of service, prayer, and evangelism. They faithfully pray on others’ behalf and serve to strengthen their parish’s spiritual life as they deepen their own relationship with Christ through a Rule of Life, or self-imposed daily spiritual discipline. All women (and girls age 7 and up) may join the Order through discernment classes followed by a formal induction.

Our chapter at Our Merciful Saviour is named for St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the “Little Flower,” who followed her Lord with a simple and powerful "Little Way" of love and joy. As a Carmelite nun, she gave her life to prayer and lived and taught a spirituality of attending to everyone and everything well and with love. She loved flowers and saw herself as the "little flower of Jesus," who gave glory to God by just being herself among all the other flowers in God's garden.
